E is for encouragement!!! Which is exactly what my manager gave me yesterday!! I have busted my ass for this job for almost 5 years now, and all this time thought nobody was ever noticing. I was wrong!! This little note came as a complete shock to me and I didn't expect it at all!! But lemme tell ya...it made my day!!! :)
D is for Degrassi.
Degrassi is my all time favorite teen drama show. They're very unique in that they tackle a lot of issues that teens face, in a realistic sort of way. Like all shows it has its flaws, but overall, it's a damn good show!
This was just me playing around with my computer program. I was bored. :)
B is for best friend. Sue is Patrick's best (platonic) friend. Although it's not something we've talked about, I can see it in his comfort with her and his trust. They met their freshman year of college at UNCG. She is the only person he met when he started college that he has kept up with and maintained a real friendship with. Having Sue over to hang out gives Patrick a chance to be the intelligent college graduate with someone who gets it. I like Sue. :)
Patrick is my best friend. He is the most beautiful person I have ever met in my entire life, and the only person I have ever felt whole and myself with. He's the only person I've been able to trust with my emotions and every piece of me. I've trusted him with parts of myself that I often don't even trust myself with.
To me, my best friend is someone who I know is going to be there with me through whatever life brings. No matter what is thrown at our friendship, and how thin it may be stretched, that person will always be my best friend.
In times of anger, frustration, disappointment, dislike, doubt, fear, pain, shame, and much much more, I never question whether Patrick is still the best friend he could be. Because when all is said and done, he is still my rock and what keeps me going in life. And to me, that's what a true best friend is for.
